Do some perfume and aftershave smells make your breathing difficult?

if so as it is a proven fact that the chemicals in the perfumes cause respirtory problems shouldnt the wears be made to go in a perfume area out side public places? my cap stinks when i come in from a night at the working men's.i'm on the commite so i'll put that to the other members.Do some perfume and aftershave smells make your breathing difficult?
I can smell Calvin Klein's Escape a mile off. My eyes water my nose stings and I wheeze like crazy. I hate the stink of it too. It reminds me of cats pee.Do some perfume and aftershave smells make your breathing difficult?

I think , if people are over dosing on the stuff, ban it. Yeah!!!!


You'll need something to hide the smell , once the smoking ban comes in, so believe me,. a bit of old spice, is better than a bit of old curry from last night, escaping from the trouser area......
I'm a taxi driver and sometimes you get 4 girls in the cab, and it seems they all bathed in their favourite smell. I have had the air con on and windows open in the middle of winter.

Any perfume/aftershaves can cause an allergic reaction,which can affect breathing, however I rather think that your question is a ';tongue-in-cheek one and not intended to be taken seriously.Is it by any chance a little dig at the people who support the smoking ban ? if so 10/10 for ingenuity !
sometimes we have an allergic reaction to what perfumes are made of...banning the use of them, however, is not the answer...think about the people who use the scents to cover their own lack of hygiene...bathing is the answer, but not everyone does that...
Some people are allergic to perfume smells, but I expect you will have difficulty getting any sympathy from your committee regarding your suggestion, which I imagine you say with tongue in cheek. I know someone who had to give up a job in Boots the Chemists because of the same problem as you. It's a difficult one.
